IMPORTANT: We're getting to the point we will be caught up very soon on all fics up to November. :) However, we are still having issues with incomplete forms, no email address included, incorrect link to your fic or no fic attached to your form. Remember, we can't link directly to any automated archives like Helio, Gateworld, or Fanfiction.net. Doing so can possibly slow down their servers and do a disservice to fellow Stargate fans who want to check out those sites as well. If your fic is housed in those sites, just attach the Word doc version of the fic to your submission form. We'll be happy to code it for you. Our submission form once again is here:In the coming months, we'll be posting fics. If you haven't seen your fic up yet and you know they were within our submissions guidelines, chances are there may have been a problem with the form submitted. The staff has been diligently contacting those authors but we have not been getting responses back. Please, help us help you better. If you have such a fic that hasn't shown up yet, please contact me directly at my addy below.
Thank you and keep on Gating!

NOTE: Many of you have asked if we will be accepting season 9 fics. We will be, however, we do ask that it is noted somewhere in your fic info so fans who are looking for 9th season fics can see where they are.IMPORTANT: Please note as well that we are currently catching up with all fic submissions from 2004 up to last month's. We're getting there. :) However, I do ask when you submit your fic, to be sure all the correct information is filled out. Please help the staff by trying to complete as much as you know in regards to your fic. Our submission form once again is here:

NOTE: To all Fanfic writers, we're currently testing out a new program for submitting fanfic. I hope this would make it easier and perhaps process things faster for all of us. However, there is testing to be done, hence we can not accept any fanfic in the website until after Sept 13, 2004. We need to be sure all will be well before putting up the new system. If you have a gen fic you wish to submit, please hold off until then.Smiles,

It has come to my attention that many of you had asked whether or not we will be accepting season 7 fics. I'm sorry if there were any confusion. I hope this letter would clear up some things. And guys, really, never apologize for emailing me a question. That's what I'm here for. If I can answer, I will.Stargatefan.com has a gen archive. We take most gen fics with the exception of any fics relating to season 6 (unless it's a fix-it, Daniel descended, Meridian fix-it, and so forth). We will be accepting season 7 fics since it heralds the return of Daniel Jackson and relates back to our own submission guidelines.
Please note our average time to coding fics and posting is a tad slower than many automated archives. Please take no offense or worry. It's usually because we code them by hand, auditors read through them, and then they get posted in various indexes to ensure no matter where the fans search, if your fic relates to a certain section, it'll be there for them. :) We take quality control very seriously. We get bogged down with requests, but we will respond to them. If you see a dead link or a mislabeled fic, please direct the errors to our auditing dept at: audit(at)stargatefan.com. Rita and her staff will review them. The past few weeks though, her email has been sporatic so if there was an error you believe has not been corrected yet, please feel free to drop a reminder. Time and real life catches up with us constantly and sometimes we miss stuff. Never, EVER feel embarrassed about pointing it out. Because if YOU notice, chances are other fans will too and then it becomes an inconvenience for your fellow fans. And there is never the purpose of Stargatefan.
Please note the following emails for fics:
To submit a fic (in doc, email, text form), make sure all the information is on the fic (i.e. author name, spoilers, ratings, etc). They can still be sent to: fanfic(at)stargatefan.com If you have an inquiry or want us to review the fic to see if it fits within guidelines, you can also direct them to there. If your fic is already on a website, you can fill out the easy form for us to get here: [ submit a fic link ] . With the exception of Heliopolis, Jackfic.com, Comfort Zone, Alphagate, and Fanfiction.net though. They're archives themselves and we can't link to them because it'll drag down their bandwidth and cost them money. If your fics are housed there, please send the file instead to fanfic(at)stargatefan.com. We'll code them for you. :) If there is an error on a listing, dead link, etc, please direct them to: audit(at)stargatefan.com. We're also looking for more people for this department. The purpose is to read and sort through dead links and track down these fics through Google or other searches. Many authors forget to alert fans about where they move and I hate to think because of it, fans miss out on some great fic. If interested, contact Rita at audit(at)stargatefan.com. Lastly, please accept my humblest apologies. I know, we're not the fastest archive out there and updates really rely on how many fics we get. So sometimes we get lots, sometimes not. I'm reviewing departments to allocate people and still coding so much more features for this site. Plus, I'm constantly getting recommendations from the staff, from the fans, on new writers we haven't encountered. So we're also busy trying to contact new writers and invite them to our archives. (It's a happy busy though, because it's such fun getting emails from fans about new writers to check out!)
If your fic hasn't been posted yet, not to worry. It's probably me drowning under the workpile. :) If there is a fic we can not take, we do not just put it aside. Someone will contact you. That is our policy. It is also our policy to offer alternative archives should we be unable to take in your fic. So if you hadn't heard from us yet, don't fear and don't be shy to contact me here: webmaster(at)stargatefan.com. I'll look into it and let you know one way or the other. We're such a diverse group of fans that even if there IS a fic we can't take in, there are such huge numbers of excellent archives who will. No fic will go homeless. (Goodness, no!)
Smiles,
Yum@ :)
