Hi!

Well, as promised, the automated archive is up for StargateFan. As you can see, nothing's really up yet, but it's ready for stories! We're accepting gen fc for both SG-1 and Atlantis. Spread the word. We're back in business. *smiles*

What of the old fics? Well, slowly, we'll be inputting them in. If you were a pre-existing writer, chances are we'll be putting up these fics for you. Just give us time.

Are we continuing the rest of the site? To be honest, I don't know. Depending on my health, money issues, and well, if there's even interest, I'll be evaluating things as we go along.

Hello all,

I know it's been a long time since Stargatefan.com has been updated. In short, a bit of a medical emergency happened last June and life for me grew a bit...complicated and , well, it's been a slow recovery. And while I'm not really 100% yet, I also felt the site's been neglected far too long.

This site hasn't been abandoned. No. In fact, this site's been in my thoughts all year. I regret leaving the site alone for so long; especially with all the hard work everyone's put in.

Come January 1, SGF will return in limited capacity. An automated archive will go online for Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis fic. And as always, gen fic only. We won't be deterring from that. As for the old archive, I'm keeping it up. But there will be no more updates and slowly, we'll be putting the original fic in the new archive so they can be searchable as well. We have a lot of classic fic and I will do my best to perserve them.

So does this mean we'll be an SG-1 and Atlantis site? Well, for now, just the fic. Should we gain the resources and manpower, we may broaden the site for Atlantis as well.

I want to thank everyone from all the lists, the staff, and Katya for your support and good wishes. I wished I had the power to reach out and hug you all. Your well wishes and cards were overwhelming, inspiring, and uplifting. I am truly humbled. There were times, I really wasn't sure this could ever get better. There were dark days, but everyone's been so positive, so inspiring, how can I possibly give up now? I will do my best to keep working at this. I will keep fighting to get back. Can't get rid of me that easy. *smiles*
