Katya's Techno Babble Note: It may be easiest to download these links if you RIGHT click on the name of the desired promo and then click SAVE LINK AS (or something similar). The NEW Episode clips are in the smaller WMV format. The Series Promos are in either AVI or WMV format. AVI's should play on Windows Media Player (which comes free with most versions of Windows), Real Player, Adobe Premier, and anything else that supports AVI formatting. WMV should play on Windows Media Player 7 & 8 (which comes free with most versions of Windows or you can download it for free at [ Windows Media Player for PC and Mac ]. The most current version of AOL Media Player and a few others also play this format. WMV should also play on most newer Macs (though don't open it in Quicktime since it doesn't support it). If you cannot get it to play on your Mac, then you can download Windows Media Player the Mac OS version and it should play on that. Also, if you experience trouble with breaks in your downloads so that you have to restart them (which is way annoying) then it's recommended you may want to try the little freeware program called [ GET RIGHT ] which is a download manager program to help you download files from the internet. It allows you to easily download files and recover (resume downloading) if errors occur--and has many other advanced features.

Katya's REALLY Heavy Techno Babble ( unless you're Carter you may not want to read this part. ) The Promos were coded with the 'IV32', Intel Indeo(R) Video R3.2 compressor (which tends to be a more universally accepted compressor setting than Cinepak or some of the others). The Episode scenes were coded with the Windows Media Video V7 Codec as it compresses down to a smaller size while allowing me to maintain even higher quality than the universal AVI format seems to.
